Gazakitchen-Corn Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the corn kernels and melted butter.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the corn mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and heavy cream.
  7. Add the egg mixture to the corn mixture and stir until well combined.
  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the pudding is golden brown on top and set in the center.
  10. Remove the pudding from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
